Triad: Systematic Planning, Dynamic
Work Strategies, and Real-Time Measurement Systems
Triad
is an innovative approach to decision-making for hazardous
waste
site characterization and remediation. General Dynamics/Brady
and Associates, SSC Pacific, and Navy Region Southwest
combined their efforts using EPA's Triad framework to provide
a mechanism for better communication by linking data to other
applications (Web sites, GIS, databases, and sensors) where
data processing and decision making are facilitated through
networked connections. This approach results in systematic
planning, dynamic work plans, and real-time measurements that
benefit from better communication across many platforms that
provide access to all appropriate decision makers.
